I can't forget it myself.

I was in the hospital years ago and it turns out, the newly admitted guy that was to share a room with me was an acquaintance from child hood.
Our families were friends, though he was about 10 years older than I.

George was simply wore out from an aggressive form of cancer (he died soon after).

We talked every day about our physical conditions and the whole gamete of life's experiences.

His life's work was with the government/military doing mosquito/ chemical research.

George was a very matter of factly kinda guy and he just plain stuck me when he said:

" Never take an oath Jim because an oath always starts out very good and ends up very bad. Just like scriptures 'little book', ya know?"

Than after a short labored pause  George about whispered into my eyes, " Look at me, I'm a by-product of oaths"! ...Pop'

A chioce is a choice is a choice.

He(just my personal heavy revy) made this very clear to me when he said "The only 'free will' open to mankind is to choose bondage, all else is creations will.
Fortunately, with a prevalent Love, neither is bested by the other in the long run...Pop'

Be as water

The case for maintaining physical and mental flexibility is easily defended considering that all things rigid break in time while all things flexible simply bend to accommodate life's storms...Pop'

Here Hear..

There were times I looked at things but now I see them.

I used to look at the flower and the Bee,
now I see a bee tending to a flower
 as the flower tends to a bee.

I used to look at boats on the ocean,
now I see a boat and an ocean
tending to one another.

A bicycle is made to be ridden,
thus the rider and the bike,
tending to one another.

 It was from this very seed,
 that I went from looking to seeing,
 seeing that in every duo,
 Love, in it's way,  is simply tending to love, in it's way.

Even war and the warrior are not beyond love as the needs of each, in the other, are fulfilled.

From cradle to grave, Love experiencing itself , all for one, one for all! Just sayin' still... Pop'

He loves people but only "hangs out" with those who could consider "Love" as "the word"  supreme!

I hang out with him, no matter how he looks! ...Pop'

Call me dusty

If I were dust, than I would simply be dust blown away by the sheer daunting majestic reality of man-kinds sobering need for the Art of Loving and Giving!  ...Pop'
