If Wstboro Baptist member show up here, the will get stoned! I see u spent some time in my old haunt Baltimore. I lived on St Mary street, that old priest haunt!...Pop'
Pop, I wish I could remember the name of the street I was on in Baltimore, it was 1972. I describe the area, Lithuanian stores all around, around the corner a communtiy theater, a couple blocks further was the Symphony hall, they were on strike the whole fall I was in Baltimore, 40 minute walk further was Johns Hopkins. 10 or 15 blocks the opposite direction was Francis Scott Key memorial, another 15 minute walk in that direction was the water front which in those days was a wreck and a dangerous area to walk in. Acorss the street from the apartment, which was on an angled street, stood a big old important looking brick building that had up until a few days before I arrived been a very popular German Beer hall, it stood dark and closed the whole time I lived there. In the area around the Francis Scott Key circle there were a lot of bars, some Irish, always good live music at little or no cover. John Waters was just hitting his stride, Pink Flamingo's was the fad, and the "egg lady" had a used clothing store over a couple blocks away, I used to stop in and drink tea with her.
Lucky you. Maybe Palin and Limbaugh will be next....
ReplyDeleteAnd if they find out your doing that artsy fartsy stuff up in Denton, they'll send the Westboro Baptist protesters to clog up your driveway.
