"Beautiful Dreamer"
A parlor song written by Stephen Foster and published in 1864.
Starlight and dewdrops are waiting for thee;
Sounds of the rude world, heard in the day,
Lull'd by the moonlight have all pass'd away!
Beautiful dreamer, queen of my song,
List while I woo thee with soft melody;
Gone are the cares of life's busy throng,
Beautiful dreamer, awake unto me!
Beautiful dreamer, awake unto me!
Beautiful dreamer, out on the sea,
Mermaids are chanting the wild lorelei;
Over the streamlet vapors are borne,
Waiting to fade at the bright coming morn.
Beautiful dreamer, beam on my heart,
E'en as the morn on the streamlet and sea;
Then will all clouds of sorrow depart,
Beautiful dreamer, awake unto me!
Beautiful dreamer, awake unto me!
I Painted this tee shirt for me picking out the images that I found in the clouds that I had painted. Future painting of this type will be done for others and with that person in mind I'll pick out images in the same way. U'll note that I have signed it and dated it. On the front of the shirt I, sign it in the same way, because it is my shirt. Any of these done for other folks will have their name placed on the front of the shirt.
