Running with the herd.

I personally have a disdain for "Running with the herd", for my experience has shown me that the only time the herd  runs is when they are scared to death over the little stuff or excited about the latest bargain at wall-mart, things that I have no interest in.
I far better prefer being the loner who seeks out understandings and Truth unencumbered by those who prefer grazing above all else! Am I mad at the herd? NO not in the least but I'm disappointed at their overt lack of vision....Lalepop'

This blog post directed toward the Blogstream reunited forum.

Those of us who have an active blog after Blogstream were faced with a problem, after moving on, that didn't exist on Blogstream and that problem was, no longer did we get e-mail notification when a comment was made to a blogged post.


It was noticed that without this e-mail notification those of us , for instance, who now have blogs on Blogger were unable to maintain the cohesiveness to other blogs as existed on the old stream and as such, the blogging experience on blogger was compromised.


So along came "Blog stream united".


I've come to realize that if I provide links to my blog on blogger and post them on "Blog Streamers reunited" the interaction that was lacking on blogger is now available with the help of this new FB creation.


My suggestion is that ex Streamers continue their blogs as usual on blogger and post links on "BSU".


In this way we can maintain the integrity of the  blogging experience as it had been on the old stream as the result of comment response interaction  while at the same time  interaction with the old Streamers on BSU who no longer have blogs.


As u can see I've started to provide "links only" to my existing  blog on blogger. Thanks for ya'll....Pop'

1. Eradicate the Bush tax cuts for the rich and institute new taxes on the wealthiest Americans and on corporations, including a tax on all trading on Wall Street (where they currently pay 0%).

2. Assess a penalty tax on any corporation that moves American jobs to other countries when that company is already making profits in America. Our jobs are the most important national treasure and they cannot be removed from the country simply because someone wants to make more money.

3. Require that all Americans pay the same Social Security tax on all of their earnings (normally, the middle class pays about 6% of their income to Social Security; someone making $1 million a year pays about 0.6% (or 90% less than the average person). This law would simply make the rich pay what everyone else pays.

4. Reinstate the Glass-Steagall Act, placing serious regulations on how business is conducted by Wall Street and the banks.

5. Investigate the Crash of 2008, and bring to justice those who committed any crimes.

6. Reorder our nation's spending priorities (including the ending of all foreign wars and their cost of over $2 billion a week). This will re-open libraries, reinstate band and art and civics classes in our schools, fix our roads and bridges and infrastructure, wire the entire country for 21st century internet, and support scientific research that improves our lives.

7. Join the rest of the free world and create a single-payer, free and universal health care system that covers all Americans all of the time.

8. Immediately reduce carbon emissions that are destroying the planet and discover ways to live without the oil that will be depleted and gone by the end of this century.

9. Require corporations with more than 10,000 employees to restructure their board of directors so that 50% of its members are elected by the company’s workers. We can never have a real democracy as long as most people have no say in what happens at the place they spend most of their time: their job. (For any U.S. businesspeople freaking out at this idea because you think workers can't run a successful company: Germany has a law like this and it has helped to make Germany the world’s leading manufacturing exporter.)

10. We, the people, must pass three constitutional amendments that will go a long way toward fixing the core problems we now have. These include:

a) A constitutional amendment that fixes our broken electoral system by 1) completely removing campaign contributions from the political process; 2) requiring all elections to be publicly financed; 3) moving election day to the weekend to increase voter turnout; 4) making all Americans registered voters at the moment of their birth; 5) banning computerized voting and requiring that all elections take place on paper ballots.

b) A constitutional amendment declaring that corporations are not people and do not have the constitutional rights of citizens. This amendment should also state that the interests of the general public and society must always come before the interests of corporations.

c) A constitutional amendment that will act as a "second bill of rights" as proposed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt: that every American has a human right to employment, to health care, to a free and full education, to breathe clean air, drink clean water and eat safe food, and to be cared for with dignity and respect in their old age.

There are invasive snakes in our land and this reptile is characterized  as "the heartless head with the brainless body".

The modern day snake is quite multi functional.

The wool over the eyes "Con Job"

It's very simple and here is a simple example: The "Con" locates two neighbors and he takes each ,one at a time, and tells them that their neighbor called them "a scum bag" which infuriates both to the point whereby the neighbors meet in the street and begin to fight.

Than, the con man and an associate enter the homes of both and makes off  with the possessions of both neighbors while they are focused on their squabbling.

Simple huh?

Now, on a larger scale, consider that the "Con man" creates two political parties with opposing view points and pits them, one against another.

I'll let u complete the story because u can see the results of the "Con job" currently being played out on the world stage and how the Con man reaps what he does not sow.

If u happen to suspect that the creators of the world's financial system is the "Con man" u would be right and u would also have a greater understanding of the "Occupy" movement....Lalepop'

Be advised, the principles of totalitarianism are the enemy of life, if ya see something say something.

totalitarianism - a form of government in which the ruler is an absolute dictator (not restricted by a constitution or laws or opposition .)

The goal of totalitarianistic leadership is to suppress the souls of  it's citizenry leaving them utterly dependent upon  and bound by the whims of a single controlling authority.

Fortunately, democratic principles stand in direct opposition to such forms of leadership, considering the psychological abuse involved to be beyond all reason . 

That being said, it's ironic to note that these same archaic totalitarianistic leadership principles are oft times used  by a family member in a democratic society, that through systematic  psychological  abuse of children, typified by  micro management along with berating and belittling of the children in the family, results in long term psychological damage to the child, who in turn, ultimately damages the democratic society in which he/she lives....Lalepop'  

"one body" is all we got and it seems to be out of Wack.

The value of dissenting extremes is to give form to the void/formlessness.

The extremes I speak of are  "reality/ facts/high science/control freak/father" on one hand and "ideology/imagination/ immaculate conception/imaginator/son" on the other.

These two extremes/hands are separated by a "gulf of misunderstanding" with "the gulf being as the body" to which the opposing hands are connected.

It is to the degree that these two hands operate "with" one another, in synchronous unison/as team, that work gets done by a well served stable body.

As well, to the degree that the hands operate "against" one another war gets done by an ill served unstable body.

That being said, it appears as though mankind has mastered the opposing thumb only to be confounded by the next evolutionary step, what to do with opposing hands....Lalepop'

There is the Law and than there is the Spirit.

When it comes to "Laying down the law", it best be understood that it is the law that kills the spirit of love.

When one considers "that it is Love that gives life" one best "lay down the Love" instead!

Thus the meaning in the words "Love thy neighbor as thyself there-in the entire law is fulfilled, God's law and man's law".

That being said, don't Lord over ur kids with some "set in stone" laws folks lest they be left a cold hearted inflexible control freak .

Love is warm and flexiable, sufficient in itself....Lalepop'

As a point of clarity

I am an independent thinker and an advocate for the the Truth, for common sense, for the poor and for the disenfranchised.

That being said, many of my posts make reference to the evils of  Capitalism as it is practiced in the US.

Please don't misunderstand, "Capitalism is great",  under the proper circumstances, but considering that greed is an inert characteristic of human nature, it "has to be taken into consideration" when creating financial policy.

What we are experiencing presently in our financial system is a manifestation of unchecked greed and common sense says, "Unregulated Capitalism is an evil form of government"...peroid!

"Regulated Capitalism is a virtuous function of thoughtful government",  though Evil would have us believe otherwise. ...Lalepop'

Listen up...please

Everything is ONE thing and that truth can be seen most vividly at this point in time as Human nature and Mother nature continue to reflect one another.
This means, as one has becomes more violent and oppresive, so too does the other.
The extent of the human beings influence is in the arena of human nature, meaning should the human beings "choose" to express the positive/ bright side of their nature, mother nature will follow suit or on the other hand,  if mankind continues to escalate in the  expression of his negative nature, so to the effects of mother nature's negative side  will continue to escalate.
As u can see most vividly at this point, the future is truly in mankind's hands but unfortunately select members of the human race and those who follow blindly continue to go negative on the world stage giving mother nature no choice but to go negative in return. 
This relationship between man and nature has always existed but the mind of man has not been able to comprehend  it on a substantial scale as we and the world continue in  a downward  spiral of birth to death  rather than birth to life. 
Mankind has  once again chosen the wrong path by following  the ill tempered dark minded among the family of man.
The negative choices seen by the  likes of Egyptian leadership, the American Neocon movement or Chinese oppression, along with the weather, is a very bad sign  of things to come for the reason I just illustrated.

Nonsense says, "Control the people and free up the markets" while sense says, "Free up the people and control the markets".

Teacher interns, edit of previous post.

As far as I'm concerned most teachers would make better teacher interns than teachers and thus make less money than the teacher.
I would far rather see a class of sixty students headed by a teacher and two interns than a unionized system of teachers where the mediocre/interns receive both pay and tenure equal to the accomplished teacher.

Studies have indicated that 10,000 hours/5yrs of real world work experience is necessary to bring about a skilled professional.

I said it b4 and I say it again.

Anyone that is not the owner of a business exists to make aristocrats of the business man , that's capitalism.
If u have a problem with this there is just one peaceful way to counter it in a Democracy and that is to throw away ur "consumer card".
That means, become as self sufficient as possible and frequent only the business that are ABSOLUTELY necessary.
The individual can run a "Simple tight ship" and by example regulate big business by limiting their power.
This can be done without sacrificing quality of life and in the majority of cases even improve quality of life .
One other Honorable mention is: 
On the world stage, being anti-war is being on the right side of history. At this point  in time the only reason we are in Afghanistan is to keep the arms and supply manufacturers "recipients of money" that otherwise could be used for the good of "The People of these United states" thus a positive  example for the world!
Let a gun be a defensive weapon only!

On one hand life's slings and arrows suffer mind and body , while on the other the soul is tanned with strength and resolve.

Look, I don't see dead people but I do see blind folks involved in much less than life.

All folks look at things but few take the time to "really" look, as in to see, as in study, as in the room, where they sit that has become but the TV or the tree that's no longer climbed in the mind's eye or the sky which is seldom look up to having become known to many folks as naught but a container for a weather forecast or the moon now a rock in the distance or not!

Yet, not by deeds, "the chance to be eternal waits for all willing to look again, to see again, the Kingdom at hand through the eyes of a child, again!"...Lalepop'

Short and simple is indeed sweet.

In the way the smallest of light commands all the eye's attention midst the vastness of dark's contractions,
simple worded pronouncements, on any subject, if motivated by the Love of another, commands the eternal soul's attention midst the vastness of an expanding universe.....Lalepop'

Be it the challenge of a snow storm, a tornado, an economic crisis or...etc, "hard times always bring folks closer together" and that is NOT bad news and my well be good reason for great hope.....Lalepop'

The majority of folks are repelled by the Truth and the Truth Talker because Truth challenges folks superficial beliefs and thus they never know the True value of a humble life beyond the selfish bondage to ego.

Truth, not ego,  is the path to a life of happiness for those who humbly listen up to/for it...Lalepop'

The Cincinnati "Occupy" group has put forth the idea of a third political party called the "Occupation Party" and as a result Candidates are being vetted in Ohio, New York and Kentucky for runs in local elections in those areas. This is big news for the movement and ultimately for the 99%.!...Stay tuned and continue to occupy ur true selves!....Lalepop'

Greed is an inert characteristic of human nature and without the necessary checks and balances in place ya get what we have, massive imbalances in the economic system and the GOP stands in opposition to any financial regulation and even wants to roll back regulation Obama put in place after the melt down. 

As such, it can be assumed that  the Republican party is involved in the economic destruction of our country for the sake of profits while the "uniformed sheep" of the Republican party go along with their program by voting along party lines, though in fact, they will never see a dime from the pillaging of the national coffers. 

 At the current pace, the total  collapse of Capitalism is an inevitability.

The shame is that folks, like myself,  have to point out the obvious to other folks "so into" partying or a movie or a video game that they haven't a clue as to the real dangers at hand and won't know till it's all too late!

My humble suggestion is that folks "Occupy themselves" long enough to "Get it"...Lalepop

"Different" is the word thank-you.

Folks that call other folks dumb or stupid are about as far from smart as one can get!....Lalepop'

Men need to get smart.

Rather than risk being accused of sexual harassment in the work place men would be smart to push for a "no cleavage , no makeup, and no tight fitting attire rule for everyone, men and women, in the workplace"!
That's how ya deal with "equal" in the real world.
